You are required to submit 4 degree-conferred undergraduate transcripts to complete Onboarding, 3 of which MUST be sent to the TFA LA office.
These transcripts are for :
1) LMU grad admissions
2) LMU credentialing
3) Teach For America
4) Your employer.
TFA LA will distribute 3 on your behalf and you will KEEP 1 to give to your hiring partner.

Note: unofficial transcripts and non-degree transcripts CAN NOT Be submitted. Please ensure that you are ordering the correct transcripts or you will be asked to reorder/pay for new transcripts.
Graduate School Transcripts
If you have or will have a graduate degree by June 1st, please order 2 graduate transcripts sent to the office (address above)
Community College or Non-degree Granting University Transcripts
We do not need community college official transcripts UNLESS you are using a course from a school other than your degree-granting university to apply for the U.S. Constitution exam exemption. If you ARE using a course from another school for the exemption, please order 2 of these official transcripts and send to the office (address above).
Follow the deadline on your Cohort Calendar and on the On-Ramp for when to pre-order degree-conferred transcripts. For graduates and professionals, transcripts must be received at the TFA office by June 11. For recent graduates, they must be received no later than July 9.
To start this process, please take the following action :
1. Order Your Transcripts:
- Graduates: If you have already graduated, please order 3 degree-conferred paper transcripts to be sent to our office as soon as possible, and send 1 copy to yourself. If you have attended graduate school, you need to submit 2, degree-conferred, paper transcripts, as well.
- Non-Graduates: If you have not already graduated, please pre-order your transcripts (using the mailing information above) with your registrar and ask that they are held until the degree has been conferred. After you have ordered your transcripts, return to the spreadsheet and indicate that you have ordered your transcripts and the date by which we should receive them in our office.
2. Complete this brief Google Sheet: This will let us know when we can expect your transcripts. If you have concerns that your transcripts will not arrive by June or July 9, please email firstname.lastname@example.org immediately.
